Oncoimmunobiome: Integral study of tumor and tumor microenvironment: Molecular, genomic, transcriptomic, immunogenomic and microbiome characterization applied to Cancer Precision Medicine (colon cancer as a proof of concept)

The ONCOINMUNOBIOME project is focused on developing a platform for the comprehensive study of the tumor and the tumor microenvironment with an advanced molecular characterization in situ, a genomic and transcriptomic characterization of the tumor through massive sequencing (NGS), an analysis of the microbiome of fungi and bacteria and an immunological analysis with the identification of neoantigens for the possible development of personalized vaccines and the identification of repertoires of T lymphocytes specific to neoantigens for its use in adoptive cellular therapies. All of this is aimed at enabling a precise and personalized cancer medicine. As a proof of concept, for the project, colon cancer has been chosen.
