454 sequencing
454 sequencing technology is a next generation sequencing system for ultra-high-throughput DNA sequencing. It allows to obtain long, highly accurate sequence reads with an easy sample preparation. It is possible to generates 400 million high quality bases per 10 hour instrument run.
The system is appropriate for de novo sequencing, for resequencing of whole genomes and target DNA regions, for study of viral variants, for detection of points with genetic polymorphisms, for transcriptome analysis and for RNA analysis.
